This site was the only place in the world (other than the actual event) anyone could see the sliding sports championship live. It utilized a live feed from a German television crew filming the event, which then had our own announcer audio track layered on and finally was streamed live to our users via Akami's services. Immediately upon completion of the event, it was available as an archived video for users to watch over and over again. Another success for rethinking how Verizon uses its sponsorship dollars.
