Verizon's FiOS product launch had some unique issues in terms of its marketing due to the fact that since the service would be rolled out slowly one community at a time, it couldn't go the normal route of Verizon's usual national campaigns. The solution was to rely more heavily on local guerilla marketing tactics that could follow the rollouts as they moved slowly across the nation. Enter Max Harbinger, the bringer of the fast to small towns everywhere, one town at a time.
